Collagraphy is a printmaking technique using textured collages, and this workshop lets participants create prints with recycled and natural materials.
Collagraphy is a versatile and inexpensive printmaking technique that involves a collage of textured materials glued onto a rigid base, like cardboard, to form a printing plate. When inked and pressed onto paper, the result is a print with a rich, detailed surface. In this two-part workshop, participants will have a variety of recycled materials and foraged natural materials to choose from to create their own collaged printing plates and make beautiful prints.
In partnership with the Brushwood Center.
